The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) represent an enormous opportunity for companies to deliver sustainable solutions, and identifying new opportunities should be a key reason for business involvement in the SDGs, according to Alice Cope executive manager, UN Global Compact Network Australia.

Cope recently spoke during a webinar organised by MSCI to Australia’s approach regarding the SDGs. MSCI recently released a report showing that Australian listed companies in the MSCI World Index derive less of their revenue from activities related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) than their peers in the rest of the index.
